Anthropic

Financial-services agents (pitchbooks, credit, KYC)

A vendor suite aimed at the memo work that still sits between a banker and a committee.

What it does

In early May 2026 Anthropic rolled out agents covering pitchbooks, credit memos, KYC screening, and statement audits, appearing alongside Jamie Dimon at a New York event. Goldman Sachs had earlier teamed with Anthropic on trading and transaction accounting, client vetting, and onboarding.

Architecture

Document-grounded specialists with retrieval over client files. The bank still owns model risk, output sign-off, and the customer relationship.

Evidence

Caveat

Vendor capability ≠ a named bank’s production SLA. Goldman’s work is a partnership announcement; treat each bank’s go-live as a separate fact.
